EMBRYOLOGY
(Developmental Anatomy)

Embryology concerns the Developmental Anatomy of the body and is usually covered alongside topographical courses as descriptive and clinical embryology or when dealing with specific systems such as  the neuromuscular system. Molecular, Cellular and Tissue Embryology form the thrust of many recent advances in understanding the development of the human body and usually encompass development of many different species and phyla that give insights into the mechanisms involved. This page provides links to useful Embryology CAL packages, WWW sites and courses. Local students may wish to access resources via their courses in Medicine, Nursing & Midwifery, Physiotherapy and modules of Biomedical Sciences, Biomedical Engineering or Applied Clinical Anatomy.
